La gestión de procesos en la industria: el caso de la industria hotelera

Resumen

La integración de la excelencia de la calidad en la gestión estratégica de las empresas hoteleras se logra a través de la implementación de los principios de gestión de procesos y sus componentes, los cuales permiten mejorar la productividad y los resultados operativos.

El objetivo de este estudio fue evaluar la importancia de la gestión por procesos en el sector hotelero. Asimismo, permitió profundizar en el conocimiento de los procesos en otros sectores a través de aplicaciones y ejemplos.

De igual manera se desarrolló un modelo de gestión de procesos para la industria hotelera, el mismo que proporcionó una hoja de ruta de todas las actividades de un hotel como guía para la mejora de procesos.
